Scenic Places - Suspension Bridge

About Suspension Bridge
This is a 250m long freestanding suspension bridge between the two highest points in the Central Catchment Nature Reserve (MacRitchie). From the suspension bridge, you can enjoy panoramic views of the greenery of the Central Catchment Nature Reserve. This forest is home to 500 species of animals, can you spot one? Click here for Directions.

I hope you enjoy the video. I "NGed" many times and as you can see I am not experienced. Can I be a successful host?

The route to the Suspension Bridge is called Tree Top Walk, so just follow the sign that says Tree Top Walk, you won't be lost. This is really not an easy "walk" It took us about 40 mins to reach the Ranger Station and another 10 to 20 mins up a slope to finally reach the Suspension Brdge. It is about 5km. We took about 2 hrs 46 mins from the start to the end. But the experience is worth all the "sweat' of getting there. It's exhilarating!

It is quite easy to spot monkeys here. I spotted squirrels too. Click here for Directions. Admission is free. Closed on Monday. If I can do it, you can too. I carried an excess baggage of 20kg of excess fats all the way up. Haha!! :) If you are very fit you can combine Lower Peirce Reservoir with Suspension Bridge.

Monkeys greeted us at the entrance to the Suspension Bridge.

Monkeys spotted at the beginning of the Tree Top Walk. This is where you start the way to the Suspension Bridge. It is at the car park at Venus Drive. Click here for Directions.

Follow the sign Tree Top Walk. It is like a walk through the forest. It is not easy to get lost!

The path is stony. Make sure you wear proper shoes. Bring sufficient water too. Do not eat here. Have a good meal at Seletar Hill Food Court before or after the walk.

You'll enjoy this nature walk, immerse yourself in nature with its smell and sounds.

When I finally reached the Suspension Bridge, my "suffering" left me. I enjoyed the exhilarating view. Not for the height-phobic people.
